Would you go into debt to pay for your Holiday?
A survey out today suggests that 1 in 3 people in the UK will use borrowed money, a payment plan from their travel agent or a credit card to fund their holiday. The report by Bright Grey states that the average person will borrow approx £1200 with over half not being able to pay it back straight away.

Despite this, 13% of holidaymakers said a holiday was essential to them and that they had to have one every year, even if it meant getting into debt. With under a 1/3 of people planning to holiday in the UK this year, the study supports the belief that a holiday abroad is now a necessity as opposed to a luxury for many.
What do you think? Would you be willing to go into debt for your holiday??
